Last Saturday, people dressed up again for the spookiest holiday, Halloween. While some Raleigh Charter High School students went trick or treating again, many had other plans this year.
Last Thursday, we had a preview of the Halloween costumes people were wearing which had costumes dressing up as characters from all sorts of different media.
As for what students did last Saturday, a lot of people had plans with their friends, like junior Emmett Walls who mentioned, “I watched ‘Over the Garden Wall’ on a projector outside my house with my friend while handing out candy to trick or treaters. Then I played glow in the dark football with my brother and my neighbor.”
Others choose to go out and see the decorations and people dressed up like senior Aditya Kanade who said, “I spent part of my Halloween with my friends attempting to get someone with a mask and shovel to talk while he only stared back without saying anything.”
The people who stay at home to scare trick or treaters are the ones who make Halloween, Halloween.
But the world can’t stop spinning for Halloween. Some students like senior Bennett Kracht spent the night working, although she says she got off early and went to a party.
What will you be doing next year?
