NFL Week 4 Recap: Who Did the Best?

NFL Week 4 had exciting finishes, major upsets, and several big wins as teams continued to prove themselves early in the season. Some of the biggest stories included the Cowboys’ comeback, the Patriots’ upset of the Bills, and the continued success of the Chiefs.

One of the most exciting games of the week was between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans. Dallas overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to win 34-30. Running back and UNC grad Javonte Williams scored 3 touchdowns in the second half, while receiver CeeDee Lamb caught 17 passes for 189 yards.

In more local news, the Carolina Panthers surprised the Detroit Lions with a 32-26 win. Quarterback Bryce Young threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns to Tetairoa McMillan.

”I really enjoyed watching Tetairoa McMillan and Chubba Hubbard, and our defense looked amazing,” said sophomore Caleb Howard.

Another major upset came as the New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills 29-26. Quarterback Drake Maye threw a late touchdown pass to secure the victory. This gave New England an important win against a division rival.

The Kansas City Chiefs also remained undefeated after beating the Las Vegas Raiders 30-27 in a close divisional matchup. Running back Kenneth Walker III rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns, helping Kansas City improve to 4-0.

Other teams also made important statements in Week 4. The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Miami Dolphins 15-10 to improve to 4-0, while the New York Giants beat the Arizona Cardinals 36-24.

Overall, the Chiefs, 49ers, and Vikings continued their undefeated starts, while teams such as the Texans, Dolphins, and Buccaneers struggled to find wins. With the season still young, these results could play an important role in determining which teams make the playoffs later in the year.
