All Dressed Up: What do the Pre-Homecoming plans look like for RCHS students?

Are you going to Homecoming? Even with the dance being the main event, many Raleigh Charter students have created plans leading up to it. These RCHS students are sharing what their own plans are and who they are doing it with.

The Raleigh Charter Homecoming is finally almost here! It is being held at the Marbles Kids Museum on October 24. The Homecoming is exciting, especially for new students, as it is Raleigh Charter’s only all-grade dance.

Freshman Claudia Mansour’s first Homecoming is starting off with getting ready at her friend’s house. She comments, “I’m super excited for my first high school dance! I think that it is going to be amazing and super fun.”

Other students are kicking off their night with a nice dinner, such as sophomore Neily Beumont.

“I am going to go with some juniors to this restaurant Tavorna Agorna,” She says. “It’s a Greek food place and it looks really nice.”

Beaumont says her favorite thing about Homecoming is getting dressed up and taking pictures with her friends.

“It’s really about the experience for me.” Beaumont commented.

Photos can be arguably one of the most important things to do before and during Homecoming. Whether it’s for parents to cry over or just to document, students enjoy taking them around spots around Downtown Raleigh, at their houses, and at Homecoming itself.

Homecoming is sure to be an incredibly fun night! Be sure to dance and to have fun with your friends to make this 2026 Raleigh Charter High School Homecoming the best we’ve had yet!
