Homecoming 2025

Students at Raleigh Charter were excited for the 2025 homecoming dance. On Saturday October 25th, Raleigh Charter had their annual homecoming dance at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh.

The theme of the dance was “Over the Moon”. Students eagerly talked about the dance during their community work day the day prior.

Rhea Victorian, a freshman at Raleigh Charter stated, “I’m looking forward to the music and the food!”

Another student during community workday, a sophomore Noah Darwish, said, “I’m most excited for all of the dancing that I am going to be doing.”

At homecoming, the dance floor was for sure active. One of the prominent dancers was Katherine Preddy, a freshman.

Katherine and her friends Tanaya and Teesha Patel, also freshmen, were on the dance floor all night.

While some students had fun on the dance floor, others sat at the tables that were set up and talked with their friends.

After the dance ended and went by, students and teachers alike had time to think about what their favorite part of the dance was.

Mia Shiraiwa, a freshman, said her “favorite part was seeing everybody in the beginning and seeing her friends.”

Grace Thompson said she “enjoyed taking photos with her friends in the photo booth.”

Ms. Norowzi, the AP language teacher, said her “favorite part of this homecoming dance was seeing her students all dressed up and not in their regular school clothes.”

No matter what you went to homecoming for, there was something to do. You could eat, talk with your friends, take photos in the photo booth, or dance!

It’s safe to say that homecoming 2025 was a successful night.
