Students at Raleigh Charter have a new reason to be excited during their free time. This reason is the new ping-pong tables that have been added to the school.
Since these tables arrived, courtesy of SGA, they have quickly become a popular place for students to hang out, play games, and spend time with their friends. Students have been gathering around them, playing games, competing with friends, and learning how to play.
“Ping-pong is great, especially when I win,” said freshman Philippa Slipsky.
The tables have given students something new to do during their breaks. Instead of sitting around or doing the same activities every day, students can now challenge their friends to a quick game of ping-pong.
“Playing ping-pong after school is so much fun because it’s a great way to relax, laugh, and hang out with friends!” said senior Shivum Datt.
The new tables have quickly become a popular spot at school. Students of all different skill levels have been giving ping-pong a try. Some students take it seriously and keep score, while others just have fun and learn the basics.
“It’s fun to play with other students and meet new people,” said junior Eliana Leino.
The tables have added something fun and different to students’ free time and have become a place where students can compete, laugh, and spend time with friends.
